 Why was an old miner
called a "Sourdough"? Well check out this great kids
recipe and find out!
Then bake some donuts from the days of the California Goldrush! Miners who had been around
awhile were called "Sourdoughs" because they were there long enough to let their
bread starter grow! Here is a fun recipe for a Gold Rush
party!
This recipe comes from Belinda Mooney who says:
I am a SAHM, homeschool mom of 7 children. We are in our 14th year
of a great homeschooling adventure. I am also the author of several unit studies for homeschoolers and I
believe this to be one of the best ways to learn. Unit Studies add so much to
homeschooling and are perfect for the hands-on learner especially. I also enjoy crafts of all kinds, cooking,
being thrifty and reading voraciously.
