The end of the school year and marking milestones are great times to
have parties. Here are some ideas from our craftzone members for end of year parties that
are good for the end of the year and just about any time of year.Have an awards party
From: mary
ravanelli
My sister and I both
homeschool and for our end of the year party for our 9 kids, we are having an awards
party. We purchased ribbons at our local party store and made up certificates for the children. We also
made memory books for our first year of homeschooling and the children will write their favorite memories in the book.
Have a picnic in
the park
From: June
About 5 years ago I happened to notice that 7-11 had hotdogs on sale
for .50 so I said let's get some hotdogs and sit in the park because it is the end of
school. We also got a bag of Doritos and slurpees. These kids have such a good memory and
the following year they asked to do the same and then the next. I'm hearing them say it's
almost time for us get our hotdogs and sit in the park. I've tried to change it to
something else but they insist that it is tradition. We do have a number of other nice
events that take place at the end of the year with our co-op such as field day and a
picnic and also an evening program with lots of goodies but they like the hot dogs in our
little park best.

Having a
graduation using your child's artwork
From: zsbma
Maybe you can have a
little graduation for your child to the next grade and maybe invite some family or friends
over. Buy a post board and put up some of your child's art work, papers that your child
did this yr.and maybe record it take pictures, and maybe hand out an award to your child,
where you can make up something or buy them from some place like office depot and put it
in a frame that will make the child very happy and proud just an idea.
Have a pizza
party
From: Marie
Each time one of my boys finishes a book (math, workbook, whatever
type of 'project' it might be), they are entitled to their very own pizza party. That child chooses what he wants
on his pizza, and then we make it together. All of them love our pizza parties, and of
course they thoroughly enjoy kneading the dough, sprinkling on the toppings, etc. Just an
idea! Marie
Making Your Own Stickers
This is a super idea to create your personalized messages as
decorations or as a way to tell your kids "Well Done"! These stickers are a
fabulous, not to mention inexpensive way, to brighten your children's day. They are also
great as an arts and crafts project. They can be made to adorn homemade greeting cards and
other novelties ( including notebooks).

Party Ideas
It provides GREAT ideas for every aspect of the party, all inexpensively, and
age-appropriate. It is a GREAT gift idea for moms with young children, but the ideas are
very applicable to adult parties too. I will definitely do lots of these parties when my
family gets together. Adults and children will enjoy these festive ideas. What a blast! |
