Beverly's Baking Powder
Biscuits
 This week's
Recipe of the Week is brought to us by Beverly Johnson. Her homemade biscuits
are a big hit with her family and easy to make. Beverly says, "I have been cooking
since I was a young child, I remember my grandma putting a milk crate near the stove so I
could reach while she taught me her cooking secrets. I always loved her and I've always
loved cooking. I am 60 years old now and have grandchildren of my own and I still love to
cook and I love to try new recipes. I have made cook-books with my recipes in them for my
children and I hope some day my grandchildren will remember me fondly for always having a
good humor and good food as I do my grandmother."Biscuit Breakfast Sandwiches & Puffy Scrambled Eggs
 This
is a quick and satisfying way to get all the kids to eat their breakfast. The biscuits are
easily made in the morning or can be made the night before. The eggs are a tasty and quick
breakfast that even the kids can make. All you need for a complete breakfast or late night
snack, is your microwave and eggs!
Egg Skillet
Treat Dad like a king with this egg, potato, and bacon dish. Egg
Skillet is simple and easy to prepare and the kids can help. You can cook the bacon
yourself or buy one of the new pre-cooked bacon products.
Cinnamon Buns
This is a great recipe from one of our members who
says, "These cinnamon rolls are a favorite of family and friends. They are always
requested when we have slipovers and for special holidays. Our 4-H group often serves food
at auctions and these are even requested to put on the menu from familiar customers and
auctioneers! They are super easy, super cheap, and best of all super yummy!"
Classic French Omelette
This week's Recipe of the Week is brought to us by Dr. Larrian
Gillespie the author of The Goddess Diet. Dr. Gillespie, in addition to learning how to
cook from the very best chefs, has developed a successful weight loss and maintenance
program for all women. Her Classic French Omelette is a terrific dish for breakfast,
lunch, or dinner. She says, "The first thing I was taught at cooking school in France
was how to make an omelette. I've adapted this recipe to include soy and my
favorite herb de Provence."
Fluffy Buttermilk

What could say, "We love you,"
better than a steaming stack of fluffy buttermilk pancakes? This is a yummy way to start
off your special day. You'll want to make a few extra for the cook!
