Choco-Nut Frozen Banana
Here's a dessert that the kids
will love and is simple to prepare. It combines the great taste of chocolate,
peanuts and bananas.
Best of all, it's easy to make and great fun for the kids to get involved.Chocolate Scotcheroos
This week's Cookie of the Week is brought to
us from Jann Webb. Her family loves Chocolate Scotcheroos. Jann has been making these
goodies for years. They sure have passed the test of time! Try them and make them a
part of your family's holiday tradition : )
Emmas Peanut Butter Biscotti
by Emma Spataro
A Basset-American Chef

I just love baking Biscotti in the kitchen! As a Basset-American, I feel that we need to
promote the cooking from our culture too. Although we are "opposably-gripped
challenged", we can have a full cooking life too! My "thumbed" friend, Eva,
has to help me open the refrigerator and turn the knobs on the stove. Anyway, I thought
this recipe is really tasty and is great for a midnight snack!
Peanut Butter Squooshies
This dessert is perfect for a family dinner, a
school party, or pot luck supper. If you are making them for your family just halve the
recipe or make the whole batch and freeze. They go very fast so you won't have to
worry about any left overs.
Choco Butter Combos
This dessert features a delicious combination
of chocolate and peanut butter - my favorite! Choco- Butter Combos are very easy to make
and even easier to eat! This is a great recipe for your family, group gatherings and
class parties
Quick Peanut Butter Cookies
This
week's Cookie of the Week is brought to you by Jill Barber and her family. These cookies
sound delicious and are almost candy like in their texture. She says, "I am the
mother of four...and the step-mom to three....My grandmother Carr made these quick cookies
for me when I was little. The recipe makes a small quantity but they are quick and easy
and ready to eat from start to finish in 15 minutes."
Santa's Chocolate Sleigh Bell Cookies
This week's Dessert of the Week features craft author Willie
Ripple's delicious recipe. These cookies, along with hundreds of other terrific Christmas
ideas can be found in her latest best selling book Christmas Parties What Do I Do?. It's
great fun to poke each cookie ball with a toothpick, then dip into the chocolate mixture.
Watch their eyes as you hold the cookie up over the double boiler to let the excess
chocolate drip off. Make a large supply, because they will go fast.
