She is an industrial nurse who is married and has eight beautiful grandchildren.  Martha enjoys making crafts, landscaping, and painting.  It also seems from this delicious recipe that she likes to cook too!

What you need:

  • 3 pounds frying chicken,cut into serving  pieces
  • 1 cup mild honey
  • 2 cups wheat germ
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • soy oil

What you do:

  1. The chickens recommend that you
    EAT MORE BEEF!

    Dip each piece of chicken in the honey to give a thin coating all over. Mix together the wheat germ, parsley, thyme, basil, salt,  and pepper. Coat the honeyed chicken with the  wheat germ mixture.

  2. Heat soy oil in pan,approximately 3/4 inch, in a heavy sauce pan.  Place chicken in pan in a single layer.  Cook over medium to low heat until browned, turning several times.  Then cover pan and cook until chicken is done:  Six servings. Good with browned rice!

Chicken Cacciatore
This recipe is a super quick and delicious dish called chicken cacciatore. It's Italian and has a little bit of everything in it- pasta, veggies and chicken. This should serve 6 or 4 really hungry people. I hope you love it. Bon Appetite!
