Recipe of the Week features a
popular, old- time family favorite, the Classic Green Bean Bake ! Great for Christmas and Thanksgiving or just anytime for Sunday
dinner? You don't have to wait for a holiday. Make everyday a holiday with this bean bake.
Top your casserole with shredded mozzarella cheese for a delicious twist.
What you need:
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 packages ( 9 ounces each) of frozen green beans, cooked
and drained OR: 2 cans ( 1 pound each) green beans drained.
- 2 cans ( 2.8 ounces each ) French-fried onions
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
What you do:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter 1 1/2 quart
casserole.
- Mix in soup, milk, soy sauce, and pepper in casserole. Stir
in beans and 1 can onions.
- Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Stir well. Top with cheese
and then with the remaining onions. Then bake for 10 more minutes.

This is a casserole that is perfect for the
whole family. While your pot is hot you won't be. This dish will let you get out of
the kitchen and still have a tasty dinner after an afternoon of fun in the sun.

wonderful Meat Loaf. This dish can be made ahead of time and place in the
