This smoothie is perfect for anytime of the day and makes a nutritious after dinner dessert.  You can use either fresh or frozen blueberries.

What you need:

  • 1/2 pint  ( generous 1 cup) of blueberries
  • 3/4 cup of plain low fat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup 1% lowfat milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract

What you do:

  1. Put all ingredients into a blender an blend until smooth.
  2. If you wouldlike to add some sweet to this smoothie add 1 tablespoon of honey.
