Karen's Grilled Slow Cooker Ribs
 This is a recipe for
slow cooked grilled ribs that will make your mouth water offered up by a member of our
momscooking discussion group. Karen says, "This is awsome! My fiancee ate and
thought these were the best ribs. The next time I made them, he came into the kitchen
while I was layering them in the crock pot with the sliced onions and said (to put it
kindly) yuck! Now, he just says that he doesn't want to know how I make them,
because he can't resist the final result!"
Ev's Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Casserole
 This
recipe comes from a member of our momscooking support group and she says, " I have
three children and a husband to feed. I can't just make up dishes, but I can certainly
follow a recipe! My grandmother always said, 'If you can follow a recipe, you can cook.' I
thought I'd include a favorite main dish recipe I got from my mother-in-law. Thanks and

Emeril's Favorite French Toast
 We
have another egg-ceptional idea from chef Emeril Lagasse who says,
"Oh, man, talk about a walk down memory lane. This is one of the first things I ever
made in the kitchen when I was a little boy. Even back then I liked to experiment to keep
things interesting, and this is the result of one very successful experiment. The orange
flavor in this French toast will just about knock your socks off. Try it-I bet you'll be
back for more!"
Sue's Aglio e Olio
 This recipe
comes from Sue who is a vegetarian and an adventurous experimenter who loves to cook with
her son. This recipe is a delightful blend of lots of garlic, chili peppers and Parmigiano
Reggiano. She says, "My seven year old son and I were making a recipe from your
website the other day (Emeril's My Oh My Spaghetti
Pie) and he insisted on sending in the recipe for Aglio e Olio. My family
loves it! I believe it is a traditional Italian recipe. The original called for chicken
stock, but I make it with seasoned salt because we are vegetarian.
We enjoy experimenting with new recipes, especially from other cultures, and I am looking
forward to trying more recipes from your site."

kicked-up idea for leftover spaghetti noodles! I use mozzarella cheese in this recipe, but
go ahead and make yours with whatever cheese you like best. Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or
even smoked Gouda would be great."
Easter Bread
 This is a traditional baked good that is found on many Italian

It gets it's name from the "secret ingredient", coffee, which is a key
ingredient in Redeye Gravy.. Judy says, "I am a Chile-head from way back! I am a
native of Columbus, Mississippi, a historic
city noted for our antebellum homes. My main interests are cooking and digital
photography. My favorite things to cook with are chile peppers so I have lots of Mexican and spicy recipes. Y'all come back real

Beth's Best Homemade Stuffing Ever!
 This
recipe is brought to us by Beth which will make a great addition to your Thanksgiving and Christmas
table. Beth says, "I stumbled onto this recipe when I used to work for a bakery , yes
its good, my son who up until this recipe would only eat stovetop, loves it you need loaf
wheat bread, the gritty grainy type (I use a 7 grain type) not wonder bread type loaf rye
bread, the dark pumpernickel is great."
Beverly's Ham Loaf with Pineapple Sauce
 This
recipe comes from Beverly in New York. She
says, "My Mom used to make Ham loaf using ground ham only. I never liked it because
it always seemed so salty. After trying many recipes I found that the addition of sweet
pork took a lot of the salty taste out as well as the addition of unsalted saltines. The
addition of a little green pepper gives it a great flavor and the sauce makes it an
exceptional treat. It is a great way to make a special dinner out of leftover ham."
Marion's Sour Cream & Dill Pasta
This pasta dish goes beautifully with salmon and other fish-dishes and come from our world-traveling
friend, Marion McDowell and comes by way of County Tyrone, Northern
Ireland and Alaska. She says,
"I originally got a couple of recipes off the web for a creamy dill sauce, and then
did a bit of creative experimentation based on those and came up with this dish. It serves
4 as a side dish or 2 ala carte. Enjoy!"
