I have to tell you that this was the first time that
I made a wreath. I've done about every craft project, but somehow this one got away from
me! It took me only 1 hour and I found all the materials in my local craft shop. It looks
great when it is done! What you need:
- 1 12 inch Straw Wreath
- 1 Mushroom bird
- 5 Mini Daisy Sprays
- 5 Mini Sunflower Stems
- 4 Mini Liatris Stems
- 4 MIni Hydrangea Stems
- 2 Mini Baby's Breath Sprays
- Wire Cutters
- Hot Glue Gun/Glue Sticks
What you do:
- Using the wire cutters, cut hydrangea and sunflower stems to
3 inch lengths. Position them evenly around wreath, and secure with hot glue.
- Attach bird to side of wreath with hot glue.
- Cut each liatris stem into two 2 inch sections of flowers.
Place throughout wreath and hot glue in place.
- Cut each baby's breath spray into five separate 3 inch
clusters. Using hot glue attach three baby's breath clusters around bird. Insert remaining
baby's breath evenly throughout wreath.
- Cut apart mini daisy sprays into various lengths between 3-5
inches. Position throughout wreath to fill in any gaps and hot glue in place.
Milk Carton Bird House
 This week's Craft of the
Week is brought to you by my cyber-buddy Martha Wisniewski. She's a craft magician ! This
craft uses milk cartons, a little construction paper and moss to make a lovely craft. It's
a great project to get the kids involved with our feathered friends!!

Take a look at our latest coloring pages which
feature a coloring page with a cute puppy playing ball
at the beach and a lovely
birdhouse that you can print out and color. Better yet, print it twice and
color your copy along with your child. It's a great way to spend a little quality time.
