older. It is simple and looks great! The supplies are easy to find in any craft store.

Sunflower Seed Necklace
This week's Craft of the Week is sunflower
seed necklaces. I love sunflowers and grow them every summer. They are easy to grow and
require very little care- just plenty of sun ! They are a wonderful introduction to
gardening for any preschooler. After the flowers have bloomed, your youngest can still
have a wonderful remembrance of her sunflowers with this necklace. It is a terrific way to
use the seeds from sunflowers and inspire the gardener in every child.
Pumpkin Pins
These pins are festive and
easy to make. All you need is some, felt, juice can tops and a little imagination!
Remember to use a permanent magic marker if you decide to draw on the felt pin- you don't
want your design to disappear.
Tattoo Paint
Don't worry mom this comes off with soap and
water! This is also terrific as face paint.
Cardboard Earrings

The kids will enjoy making these earrings for themselves or as gifts. Be creative with the
designs and you'll be sure to have a true piece artwork! It's also a great gift for Mom or for that favorite
teacher!!
